Steampunk monobike |
2016 |
School project, part of the Computer Graphics program I am currently attending. The challenge here was to reproduce a real photograph in 3D (forms, materials and lighting).
The original is designed and built by Stefano Marchetti and can be found at his page on Deviantart. The specific photo I used can be viewed here. Software used: 3ds Max (rendered in Corona), Photoshop |
Veloce espresso machine |
2016 |
School project, an exercise on precision modelling and working with OpenSubdiv. My goal was to keep the model as close as possible to the reference photos, though I did take some liberties with the materials to experiment with different textures.
The original is designed by Paolo Mastrogiuseppe and can be seen at www.superveloce.co. Software used: 3ds Max (rendered in Corona), Photoshop |
Train - Night scene |
2016 |
A short side-project I made while studying, based on Jan Lööf's illustrations.
Limitations included using only basic primitives and modifiers for the models, as well shading with Corona materials without any external textures, so all materials are done with 3ds Max's default maps. Software used: 3ds Max (rendered in Corona), Photoshop |
Blender - Stills |
2014-2015 |
Exploring workflows in Blender.
Software used: Blender (rendered in Cycles), Photoshop |
Maritime Museum in Rhodes |
2013 |
The interior of my diploma project. A small maritime museum was designed in the armory of the dockyards, where the objective was to make optimal use of the limited space, while not obstructing the view of the ceiling, to preserve the atmosphere of the large vault.
This model was created after the initial presentation as an exercise on modelling, textures and lighting. Software used: Maya, Photoshop |
